Google Earth is a virtual globe, map and geographical program which gives you an information about satellite imagery, maps, terrain, 3D buildings, from galaxies in outer space to the canyons of the ocean.It was originally called EarthViewer 3D. With Google Earth's rich, geographical content, you are able to experience a more realistic view of the world. You can fly to to your favorite place, search for businesses and even navigate through directions. It's all up to you. The only downside to the program is that it can consume a large amount of RAM, so older machines might experience performance issues, but even that can now be configured through the Options menu.
