Disc wizard is software which helps you to quick install of a new Disc drive and guides you through the process of creating and formatting partition on your disc drive. The new drive will have the operating system, and will be bootable. Disc wizard is used in many ways like suppose you have to copy all the data from an old drive to a new drive then also you can use disc wizard. Also you can now back up any partition on your computer to another hard drive, removable media such as CD-R/RWs or DVD-R/RWs, or even a drive on your network or an FTP server.
Disc Wizard backs up your hard drive by copying everything and that copying material you can find it on a compressed file or set of files known as a disk image backup. Once a disk image backup is created, you can use Disc Wizard to restore the full partition, or individual files or folders from within the backup image.

How to create a bootable Disc Wizard CD

Once Disc Wizard has been installed, you will need to open the Bootable Media Builder. To do this, click on your Windows Start button, select Programs (or All Programs), select Seagate, select Seagate Disc Wizard, and select Bootable Media Builder.
• In the initial Media Builder screen, click on Next.
• In the "Bootable Media Contents Selection" screen, you can select which versions of Disc Wizard you want installed on your CD. It is recommended that you create a CD with both the Safe version and Full version of Disc Wizard.
• Make sure that you have checked the versions of Disc Wizard you want installed in the column on the left and click on Next.
• In the "Bootable Media Selection" window, select your CD burner's drive letter. Insert a blank CD in your CD-ROM burner drive, and click on Next.
• In the "Ready to create the bootable media" screen, your selections and the space required on the CD will be confirmed. Click on Proceed to continue.
• You will see a window that says, "Processing, please wait" as your Disc Wizard CD is being created. Once it has completed being burned, you will see an information window informing you that the operation was successful. Click on the OK button to close this window.
